The West Africa Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP), funded by the European Union, aimed at improving the performance, growth and contribution to industry, regional trade, exports of selected value chains, and business climate at national and regional levels in order to facilitate the integration of the ECOWAS Member States and Mauritania into the regional and international trading system, including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Considering the importance of the Business Support Organizations (BSOs) for the strengthening of the capacities of the enterprises along the selected value chain, the ECOWAS Commission partnered with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ITCILO) in order to provide “a business training and coaching programme” to BSOs in the region.

For this purpose, a call for proposals is launched in order to identify and select BSOs operating in the ECOWAS Member States and Mauritania. Only one per country will be selected.

All BSOs legally registered and working in the public or private sector supporting enterprises creation/development and innovation are encouraged to apply.

Applications shall be submitted to by email to siyb.ecowas@gmail.com at the latest on 17th July 2020 midday UTC and mention: “WACOMP_BSO REINFORCEMENT PROGRAMME”.
