Lead Technical Expert meets with ECOWAS’ Commissioner of Industry and Private Sector Promotion. Abuja

 

The Business Environment Manager, Mr. Raffik Feki, Lead Technical Expert, Mr. Simon Armstrong met with the ECOWAS’ commissioner of Industry and Private Sector Promotion to discuss the business environment component of WACOMP, which also lead to further discussions on a new model on regional enterprise innovation and modernization.

In the meeting, a presentation of concept note on a new approach to enterprise innovation and modernization to various departments of the commission including Gender, Industry and private sector was done. 

The team also met with the EUD and participated in the Technical steering committee meeting held on the 30th of May, 2019.  And met with the Department of Trade to discuss further actions to be taken on the business component of the WACOMP.
